FACTS:
The petitioner, a candidate in the recruitment process for Assistant Professor (English) posts, challenged the State's conduct of the selection process, alleging that objections filed against the model answer key published on December 31, 2025 were never considered. Despite objections being submitted on January 5, 2026, the State published a final answer key and proceeded to conduct interviews of shortlisted candidates.
COURT'S ANALYSIS:
Justice Ganesh Ram Meena, while issuing notice in the matter, balanced the competing interests of allowing the recruitment process to move forward against ensuring that unresolved objections to the answer key did not taint the final outcome.
